# What is Clivanta?

> Clivanta runs the audited request-and-response loop between professional-services firms and their clients.

Clivanta is a platform for **professional-services firms** — audit, accounting, tax, and compliance practices — to collect evidence from their clients: structured, per-item, and fully audited.

If your firm spends real time each period chasing clients for documents, tracking what's outstanding in spreadsheets, and reconstructing who sent what, Clivanta replaces that with a single, auditable loop.

## The core idea

Everything in Clivanta is built around one flow: a **Firm** asks a **Client** for something specific, the client responds through a portal, the firm reviews and accepts it, and the accepted document becomes permanent **evidence** on the record.
